This has to be one of the most overlooked games on the MD. It played brilliantly, had graphics on par with Zelda(Link To The Past) and atmospheric tunes by Yuzo Koshiro (Streets of Rage, Revenge of Shinobi). There were plenty of imaginitive touches that made this game feel like it must have been a labour of love to create. I did find it quite easy to finish, but it's a joy while it lasts. I rediscovered this recently on a PS3 compilation (also released on Xbox360) and was impressed all over again. Play it!

I remember this one as Story of Thor, as per the pdf. Definitely one of the best Megadrive games ever released. I've always been particularly fond of this style of action RPG, but the quality here is undeniable. I tend to agree with Tanuki, but I thought Thor looked even better than Zelda. It's been many years, but I would imagine this game holds up well today.

Reviewing some games was a chore, but i very much remember enjoy Story of Thor (don't know why the changed the title). It was more graphically polished than a similar game called Soleil. Neither of them got the recognition of titles like Zelda, and in truth they are not in the league of 'A link to the Past' which was the first game I reviewed for NMS.
