Paperboy review - Nintendo Gameboy

Read Original Review PDF for Paperboy

The first (and probably the last) arcade game to use BMX handlebar controls, this graphically stunning deliver 'em up was quite a sensation in it's day.

GAME: Hop on your bike and battle your way through the weirdest, most hazard-packed paper round in existence!

What the Mean Machines staff thought

Reviewer

" Blurry graphics and poor collision detection ruin this otherwise admirable attempt at converting the brill coin-op. The presentation is just like the original machine, but on later levels spotting hazards and acting quickly and precisely to avoid them is frustratingly difficult, consequently, playing the game becomes a chore rather than fun.
