Oh no! After one rosy-cheeked caper too many, Bart Simpson has been mercilessly deported to the notorious summer camp, Camp Deadly. Here, young ruffians are mercilessly slapped about in order to teach them some discipline. Thanks to the efforts of Principal Skinner, Bart has been singled out for "special treatment" courtesy of the evil, sadistic Miss "Iron Fist" Burns (a relative of Homer's nuclear power plant boss)!

However, Bart has other ideas, and with a little help from Lisa, plans a daring breakout from the terrors of Camp Deadly. Unfortunately, the only way to stage this breakout is to participate in some of the camp's competitive challenges, adn in this game it's Bart Simpson versus everyone else!

Bart's first mission is to win the Flag Capture race. Here, with only his trusty boomerangs for help, Bart runs along the horizontally scrolling landscape collecting special flags. Once all of these are his, Bart moves on to the next, even more treacherous level, where "Iron Fist" Burns has yet more tricks up her capacious sleeves - all of them potentially deadly to young Bart Simpson!
