Robotech is easily one of my favourite anime shows yet it continues to divide opinion years after its original release. An American fusion of three different Japanese anime series, it was the brainchild of Harmony Gold and Carl Macek, who I spoke to exclusively for the purpose of this piece. You'll start hearing a lot more about this classic franchise soon as Tobey "Spiderman" Maguire's production company is currently working on a live-action adaptation.
