NEC's follow up to the wildly successful PC Engine was by all accounts a bit of a turkey. Whilst rival machines like the Playstation and Saturn were walking down the 3D path, NEC's 32-bit contender was all about barely-interactive FMV video (though very high quality, to be fair).

Still, it's an import collector's dream come true, and the story behind the console is pretty engaging.
