As the CD-ROM revolution was about to start, CVG ran this last-minute news feature. It contained news regarding the Mega CD, CDI, SNES CD and most interestingly of all, the Sony Playstation. This was back when Sony's machine was a joint effort between them and Nintendo. Nintendo eventually decided against the move and the scorned Sony went on to create the Playstation alone. The rest, as they say, is history. It's rather amusing that CVG thought the Sony machine was the 'sad lad' of the CD-ROM pack! Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I suppose... |
