Mean Machines Issue 22 - July 1992

Issue Summary

It was the game we were all prepared to sell our grannies for.

Street Fighter II finally arrived on the SNES and it was the game everyone was talking about. It's hard to believe just how strong SFII's grip on the world's gamers was back in 1992, especially when there's been so many different versions since then, and the luster of Capcom's once proud licence has faded somewhat over the years. Still, back in July 1992, it was the toast of the videogame world, as the review score indicates.

Other reviews of note include the excellent Top Gear (SNES), Micro Machines (NES) and the UK release everyone's favourite demonic pinball sim, Devil Crash (re-titled Dragon's Fury for us wimpy Westerners).
