Mean Machines Issue 18 - March 1992

Issue SummaryWrestlemania hits the UK, and the big release is on the SNES. The preview in this issue showed off the stunning visuals - unlike anything seen before in this genre - and made little Hulkamanics all over the country very happy indeed. Kid Chameleon on the Megadrive was supposed to be Sega's answer to Mario - but it ended up being a poor rip-off, lifting elements from Nintendo's famous series. Tut tut, Sega. Elsewhere Wonderboy in Monsterland, one of my favourite Megadrive RPGs, was awarded a rather stingy 88%. Included with this issue was a free Street Fighter II supplement, packed with screenshots, information and the MM crew basically going on about how great the game was. I've got a copy somewhere and I'll scan it in when I can be arsed. |
