Mean Machines Issue 17 - Febuary 1992

Mean Machines Issue 17 - Febuary 1992

Issue Summary

The success of John Madden Football on the Megadrive suddenly had 'Soccer' loving Brits wanting to know more about the American sport. This issue ran an American Football review special. For the record - I hate American football.

Looking at the cover, you wouldn't think that one of the best videogames of all time was reviewed within. Super Mario World scored a whopping 98%. Personally I would have had that plastered all over the cover instead of some poncey yank with a funny shaped ball in his hands. Ho hum.

Desert Strike, the first in the successful EA series, was given its first review here. Other than that, it was a pretty dull month in terms of games.
