Mean Machines Issue 11 - August 1991

Issue SummaryJulian Rignall returned from his trip to the USA with a bulging C.E.S. report, detailing all the upcoming titles that would soak up our cash over the coming year. Alien Storm disappointed on the Megadrive - the lush graphics and decent gameplay were ruined by a far too easy difficulty setting. EA's Hockey sim did for the sport what their John Madden title did for American Football - namely make it interesting for Brits to play! The stat-heavy 688 Attack Sub was also reviewed. Master System owners were treated to a 'Classic' review of the excellent Psycho Fox - I'd imagine this cheered the paupers up no end. Radion Automatic's first comic strip was printed this issue, in the letters pages. It's bonkers, as you would expect. |
